ISCAR opened its South African subsidiary in 1967 and in a short space of time became the leading supplier of precision carbide metalworking tools throughout South Africa. In the 50 years of trading in our domestic market we have established ourselves as the go-to company for the supply of innovative tooling coupled to reliable backup and superior service. Incorporated at our state-of-the-art facilities based at our head office, is a Technical Center and auditorium from where we are able to conduct product launches, industry specific seminars as well as live demonstrations depicting the latest additions to our vast product portfolio. ISCAR today can supply a full product line with the primary focus on productivity improvement, and solutions for cost savings and machining intelligently. Our team of application engineers and product specialist are well-trained and capable to apply the products and implement specially tailored cost saving solutions designed to industry needs. We distribute the vast range of products from our head office in Longmeadow Business Estate – North, Edenvale, fully staffed branch offices situated in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Vereeniging and via a comprehensive national network of distributors.
