Multi-Tooth Inserts

Advantages:

Reduces passes for high productivity
Ensures longer tool life
Multi-point inserts are similar to full profile, but have more than one insert point (two pointed inserts give double productivity, three pointed insert give triple, etc.)

Disadvantages:

• Can’t work next to shoulder or require wide release groove
• High cutting forces
