Drilling Grades A tough submicron grain size substrate with PVD
coating, recommended for general use in a large variety
PMKN S H of operations and materials such as steels, alloy steels,
33 3 33 austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys at
moderate cutting speeds. Features high wear resistance
and chipping durability.

PMKN S H A tough substrate with SUMOTEC CVD coating.
3 Recommended for high speed drilling of steel.
Provides excellent tool life.

PMKN S H A submicron grain size substrate with SUMOTEC
33 MTCVD coating. Features excellent chipping and
wear resistance. Recommended for high speed
drilling of cast iron and steel, to be used for the
peripheral insert on DR drills.

Milling Grades

PMKN S H A tough PVD coated grade with SUMOTEC surface
treatment. Used for milling a wide range of workpiece
33 3 materials, at low to medium cutting speeds and for
unstable machining conditions.

PMKN S H A SUMOTEC PVD coated grade. Optimal choice for
33 milling nodular cast iron at medium to high cutting
speeds.
