INTRODUCTION Profile
Thread profile, also called thread form, which refers to the cross-sectional shape of a thread.
It may be square, triangular, trapezoidal, or other shapes.
Surface Shape
The shape of the surface on which the thread is cut: it can be cylindrical or conical.
