The main frame structure is part of the backhoe
loader and shovel assembly. The main frame is a
revolving deck with a power plant, drive, control
mechanisms, usually a counterweight and a front
attachment such as a boom which supports a
dipper with a bucket at the end. It is usually made
from steel or cast iron and requires final machining
in milling, drilling, and boring.
